Western Oklahoma State College presents Moodle Moot and Tech Fest 2007

Join us June 6, 7 and 8th for the second annual Oklahoma Moodle Moot and Technology Fest. Designed for educators by educators, this event will provide you with knowledge of alternative course management technologies and strategies and how they can serve to positively impact our students' academic careers.

Moodleis an opensource framework for delivering courses online. It has a very large user base with 10,577 registered sites in 147 countries with 2,587,905 users in 242,342 courses (as of February 11, 2006). Moodle is a software package designed to help educators create quality online courses. Such e-learning systems are sometimes also called a Learning Management System (LMS), Course Management System (CMS), Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), education via computer-mediated communication (CMC) or just Online Education (e-learning).
